Here’s a Gold Bar Whiskey Cocktail for you! The traditional Manhattan cocktail as we know it originated on the east coast in New York City in the 1870s. While the drink’s foundation has always revolved around whiskey, vermouth and bitters, the Mark’s Midnight Manhattan recipe we are pleased to present here involves using our award winning Gold Bar Whiskey and swapping amaro in place of sweet vermouth to create a sultry west coast variation on the original Manhattan.
Fill a mixing glass two-thirds full with ice. Add Gold Bar Whiskey, amaro and bitters. Stir vigorously for 30 seconds, then strain into a glass.
