- 0.5 oz Luxardo
- 0.5 oz Peychaud Apertivo
According to legend, the Urban Club Cocktail started in Seattle and is named after a gambling establishment Wyatt Earp opened in the late 1890s. While the traditional recipe calls for bourbon whiskey, Luxardo Maraschino liqueur, Campari bitters and freshly squeezed orange juice, Instagram user @bitterbotwin shared this riff that replaces bourbon with our award winning Gold Bar Whiskey on the Union Club cocktail found in The Canon Cocktail Book.
Shake all with ice, strain into coupe, and garnish with citrus (pictured here: a dehydrated grapefruit slice).
Topping this off with Prosecco could make this a welcome addition to your next brunch cocktail.
